At APM Terminals Nigeria were looking for a skilled and proactiveSenior Power Technicianto lead our Power Section team in Apapa. If youre passionate about electrical systems team leadership and operational excellence this is your chance to make a real impact.
What Youll Be Doing
As a Senior Technician youll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our power systems and electrical equipment. Your key duties include:
Team Leadership: Supervise and guide your crew ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures. Conduct daily safety briefings (toolbox talks) and oversee training.
Work Management: Review and execute work orders ensure timely completion of planned jobs and verify proper closure in our CMMS system.
Record Keeping: Track team hours and daily equipment readings to support maintenance planning and performance analysis.
Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to your Supervisor/Manager on team progress and equipment status.
Safety & Cleanliness: Champion health safety and environmental standards maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Problem Solving: Identify opportunities for process improvement and escalate issues beyond your control.
What Were Looking For
Proven experience in electrical maintenance and power systems
Strong leadership and team management skills
Familiarity with CMMS or similar maintenance systems
Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
Excellent communication and reporting abilities
