Location: Vandalia OH (onsite)
Travel: Domestic and international (approximately 25%)

As our next Application Engineer youll support the North American Application Engineering team in developing new products and markets while supporting existing business. This role is integral to front-end business operations and plays a key part in product development and customer engagement.

What Youll Be Doing:

Collaborate with customers to understand needs and provide technical solutions
Customize and configure product solutions to meet specifications
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers
Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions
Drive innovation and advocate for cutting-edge solutions
Communicate customer feedback to sales and product development teams
Investigate and resolve complex technical issues
Lead technical project reviews including DVP&R FMEA and launch timing
Assist in developing cost models for product development
Act as subject matter expert in product liability claims for ventilation and air handling products

What Were Looking For:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
Minimum 3 years of experience
Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Edge preferred)
Familiarity with motors motor controls motion systems and electronics
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Project management experience with ability to handle multiple priorities
