ING Netherlands Data Management is looking for a Data Management Expert Process Lead to create the best user experience for all data consumers and data providers within ING NL. As Data Management Expert Process Lead you are responsible for ensuring data and insights are easily available and provisioned to all consumers within ING. You manage products and processes that are needed to publish visualize and provision the data from data providers (data products) to consumer within ING NL and other ING entities (Global Other countries). These processes are essential for the success of our Data Management strategy.

The team

ING Data Management NL is a multidisciplinary business & IT tribe with members from many different countries. Besides business & IT component our tribe works together with ING Hubs Romania to achieve our ambitions. Our tribe consist of multiple products divided in several product areas. Each product area is responsible to support several business domains within ING NL and specific global purposes.

You will be reporting to the product area lead responsible for the execution of improving the journeys of our data consumers and data providers. You will work together with the product teams to execute our strategy. We are exploring the creation of the fixed team to support this strategy execution and enable product teams with generic data management capabilities. You will be part of advising on this new setup.

Roles and responsibilities

• Ensure an optimal and standardised customer journey for all our data consumers and data providers to make use of data and insights for their purposes
• Lead the change throughout the tribe as the owner of these processes with a continuous focus on improving and creating efficiency
• Work closely together with Global and other countries data management teams to leverage local processes and solutions cross countries
• Engage with product leads consumers and product team members to determine the key data management processes to improve
• Focus on automatization lean processes and by default compliant processes and data management capabilities

The world of data and data management is developing rapidly. With many new technologies; exploding demand of data and insights needs; and a huge responsibility to ensure our customers data is safe we want to unleash the power of data within ING.

Furthermore you have/are:

• A Master or Bachelor degree
• A drive for change and improvement. Loves challenges and able to work in changing environment
• Able to simplify solutions and processes and able to tell the story clearly
• Experience in lean process management process development six sigma / black belt initiatives
• A huge interest in Data Products Technology Data capabilities and Data Management
• Fluent in English (verbally and written) Dutch is a plus but not essential
