The Kepak Group are looking to recruit a Maintenance Fabricator to cover our manufacturing facility in Athleague Co. Roscommon. This is a full-time permanent position and will be responsible for fabrication function on site.
What to expect in the job
- Fabricating and welding of bespoke equipment for the site.
- Maintenance of the plant and equipment to optimum performance.
- Be familiar with the daily production plan and work as part of the team.
- Assist in the repair of industrial production equipment such as high-speed machines conveyors packaging machines gearboxes bearings and hydraulics.
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with the implementation of preventative maintenance programmes for all machines.
- Ensure real time repair of machines and equipment to get them back up & running within optimum time frame.
- Document all aspects of maintenance work carried out and keep management informed of potential issues.
- Adhere to company safety policies at all times.
Requirements
- Must be able to Tig Weld SS pipe and Box Section .
- Must also be able to design fabricate and fit line upgrades or modifications required.
- Relevant Trade Certified Qualification.
- At least 1 years post qualification experience.
- Background within manufacturing/industrial business preferably within food or packaging industries but not essential.
- IT literate and experienced in automation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills enthusiastic hardworking and energetic.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be available to work Tuesday - Saturday. Day Shift Only (7am-4pm/8am-5pm)
