Now Hiring: Metal Fabricator
Location: Elk River MN
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour depending on experience
Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:00pm with overtime on Fridays when needed
Employment Type: Full time Temp to Hire
About this Opportunity:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Metal Fabricator to join a local team. This role involves reading blueprints measuring and assembling or welding parts to specification. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and experience working with hand tools power tools and fabrication equipment.
What Youll Be Doing:
Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
Weld bolt or rivet components to assemble structural or functional parts.
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
Operate machinery safely and maintain a clean work environment.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols.
Work with different metals as needed.
Some sit-down forklift
Grinding
What makes you a great fit:
Previous experience in metal fabrication or a related field preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
Familiarity with welding techniques (MIG Stick) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
