The Communications Design and Creative Arts School/Division at STLCC is seeking a full-time one-year temporary Communications Faculty member to begin teaching late start Fall 2025 (). In addition to teaching communications courses preference will be given to candidates with community college experience and the ability to also teach theater or mass communications survey courses. The new communications faculty members home campus will be Wildwood but will be considered district wide faculty and will be expected to teach at any STLCC campus as needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate the use of technology in the classroom to improve student learning outcomes and a commitment to classroom assessment. The successful candidate will also demonstrate the use of varied teaching techniques.

Requires a Masters degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Communications or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in teaching either Theater or Mass Communications courses are a plus.
Prefer community college teaching experience.
Preference will be given to those who have a proven record of excellence in both synchronous and asynchronous learning. Preference will also be given to those who are certified in Quality Matters (QM).
