Job Description
Position Summary:
The Account Manager is responsible for serving as the primary customer liaison on all production jobs and for providing back up for sales executives to meet our customers requirements.
Essential Duties Include:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
- Communicates with customers through various channels while acknowledging and resolving customer inquiries.
- Entering job specifications into system to generate detailed job tickets utilizing knowledge of production process machine capabilities and industry terminology.
- Generates prices quotes and estimates in collaboration with estimating and sales departments.
- Works with customers and pre-press department on art and graphic files.
- Monitors job throughout production stages to meet target ship dates and communicates status of jobs to sales staff and customers.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-2 years of customer support or client services position within a mid-sized business custom manufacturing business preferred.
- Computer experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook TEAMs and the ability to learn new software as needed.
- Ability to learn basic production and workflow processes machine capabilities and industry terminology.
- Demonstrated ability of excellent written and verbal communication skills organizational skills ability to handle numerous projects prioritize workload work with minimum supervision with fast-paced expectations and accountabilities.
