Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design implementation and maintenance of the organizations IT infrastructure systems.
- Oversee the performance and reliability of infrastructure components including servers storage and networking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Develop and enforce policies related to system security and data integrity.
- Conduct capacity planning and performance monitoring to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices and technical expertise.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and recommend improvements to the infrastructure.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in system engineering or infrastructure management roles.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware Hyper-V) and operating systems (Linux Windows).
- Expertise in networking concepts protocols and security practices.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS Azure or GCP) for infrastructure deployment.
- Proficient in automation and scripting (Python PowerShell Bash).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNP MCSE AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are desirable.
