About the role
The European Account Manager will seek and develop target accounts for Cold Chain Packaging in Europe. Are you familiar in the world of Cold Chain Packaging and do you have about five years of Pan European Sales Management experience including working with distributors Are you a hunter who wants to build up extensive relationships with accounts working closely with the Ranpak sales team and distributors of Ranpak

Goal
The goal of the European Account Manager Cold Chain is to build up the business in Europe. And to aggressively grow this business in the coming years. You will be the first European Sales Manager dedicated to the Cold Chain Packaging segment to build up a network and will report to the Sales Director EMEA & Brazil and functionally supported by the Business Leader Cold Chain. You will develop and maintain relationships with sales resources at Ranpak distributor level. Ensure buy-in and cooperation in targeting cold chain accounts.
Together with the marketing team for Cold Chain you will work closely to build up a winning proposition for Cold Chain and achieve Cold Chain growth targets.
As a European Account Manager Cold Chain you will operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers. You will build and maintain strong long-lasting customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor in your relationships with key customers. Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with Ranpak & distributor sales teams to ensure growth attainment in the Cold Chain.
Your background
  • Bachelor level in Commerce
  • 5-7 years experience in European Key Account/Sales with a strong focus on and network in preferably the Cold Chain packaging industry.
  • You can demonstrate results in business development acquisition and closing of new accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate present and influence credibly and effectively at senior / executive levels of the customer organization.
You are a self-starter and have an ability to work from a home based role and a willingness to travel internationally (60%). You have excellent verbal and written communications skills in English and German preferably 3rd European language (i.e. French Spanish). Next to that you can demonstrate cultural knowledge and sensitivity.
