About the company
Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client a Global media & information Services Company.
Were looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our clients mobile app team (focused on audio) in Indonesia. Your main mission: help them boost engagement and retention by improving how users enjoy their audio contentlike subscriber podcasts and audio-narrated articles. Youll work closely with Engineers and a Product Manager as part of a collaborative team. Youll take charge of design decisions create user-friendly flows and hand over designs that are ready for development. While doing this youll ensure the designs meet their brand standards and are technically practical. Ideally you have solid experience designing for mobile apps. Bonus points if youve worked on audio or video apps before! You should be comfortable sketching prototyping and iterating quicklytaking designs from research to wireframes user flows and testing. Youll be part of a supportive design team thats always working to get better together.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with key teams (product editorial marketing data and commercial) to design and improve audio experiences that boost user satisfaction and support business goals.
- Plan and lead user research with your team to understand user behavior and identify needs.
- Turn insights into testable designs like sketches user flows and interactive prototypes using our clients brand to bring ideas to life.
- Define clear user flows and journeys to align everyone on the team.
- Create high-quality production-ready design assets and work with engineers to deliver a seamless experience.
- Facilitate workshops and design sprints to involve stakeholders in the product development process.
- Share updates and explain your design decisions to key partners through presentations or informal discussions.
Job Requirements
- A strong portfolio that shows your design process and skills in interaction and visual design especially for mobile and tablet apps.
- Experience planning and interpreting user research to create wireframes and prototypes.
- Experience working with engineers product managers and designers in an agile setup to iterate or launch mobile apps. You have a sharp eye for design quality usability and consistency.
- A good understanding of the technologies that power great mobile products. Hands-on experience with agile workflows user-acceptance testing (UAT) and an awareness of accessibility and usability best practices.
- Familiarity with prototyping and design tools like Miro Protopie or Figmaand knowing when to use which tool.
- A team player who can handle pressure take ownership of tasks and see projects through from start to finish.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal in English.
