Fanling North New Development Area Remaining Phase:

Site Formation and Infrastructure Works

AtkinsRalis Asia Limited invites applications for the following Resident Site Staff positions under the project for Fanling North New Development Area Remaining Phase: Site Formation and Infrastructure Works. The works comprise site formation of lands and ground investigation within Fanling North New Development Area (FLN NDA) construction of at-grade roads connecting FLN NDA to Fanling Highway and associated junction/road improvements construction of noise barriers and low noise road surfacing and ancillary works including footbridges footpaths cycle tracks lighting traffic aids sewage pumping stations drainage sewerage water mains landscaping works slope works and electrical and mechanical works. The first contract Contract No. ND/2024/07 was commenced in July 2024 and the second contract Contract No. ND/2024/08 will be commenced in 2025 second half of the year tentatively.

Resident Assistant Inspector of Works (Civil) (Ref No.: FLNRAIOW(C))

Candidates should have:

• Diploma or Higher Certificate from Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong / Hong Kong Institute of Construction / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / Technical Institute / Technical College / Polytechnic University or equivalent in an appropriate discipline and
• Minimum 3 years of relevant post qualification experience; or
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience inclusive of 1 years relevant experience as Resident Works Supervisor or equivalent in appropriate discipline in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook; or
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience inclusive of 1 years relevant experience as Resident Works Supervisor I or equivalent in appropriate discipline in public works projects or those listed in Section 4.5.2 of the RSS Management Handbook.
• The academic qualification of Degree Certificate or Diploma in occupational safety and health or construction safety is preferable.
• Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE / HKCEE or equivalent.

Grade C and Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 3 and Level 2 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.

The candidates should have minimum academic/ professional qualification requirements of the above posts.

Appointment will be made on contract term in accordance with the prevailing Governments conditions and terms applicable for Resident Site Staff. The incumbents will be required to work irregular hours overtime and shifts (including Saturdays Sundays and public holidays) and to carry out supervision duties in Mainland China or overseas if necessary.
