Job Description
The Zeta programmatic DSP platform supports a global serving system that handles tenth of a second responses to over 200 billion events daily while reliably transporting over 300 terabytes for stream processing. Working in harmony to serve the right advertisement to the right user at the right time.
Zeta has built some of the most advanced technology in the advertising industry. You will help to continue that trend to keep up with the demand and growth our business requires. You will work with talented cross-functional teams to design implement and deliver a variety of projects to help drive our continued growth over various timelines.
What youll do:
- Design and implement amazing systems that must run in a highly distributed manner
- Manage software projects by working closely with Product Managers to convert business requirements to a project plan
- Plan cross-team dependencies create development tasks design QA tests and monitoring as well as implement deployment through the completion of the project
- Perform senior level code reviews for peers promote healthy practice to all
- Maintain existing systems and SDLC as well as Identify coordinate and implement improvements to both
- Work in an agile development cycle
What you need:
- Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures and be able to assess tradeoffs between memory vs. CPU vs. I/O vs. database load etc.
- 3 years in Java with Linux as the host system
- 1 years in SDLC/Continuous Integration with a strong stance on unit testing QA and monitoring
- 1 years of software project management
- Some experience with highly available NoSQL data stores such as Scylla Redis and Cassandra.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies
- BS in Computer Science or related fields or relevant experience
Nice to have but not necessary:
- Ansible Gitlab Docker Kubernetes
- Gradle Scala
- Machine learning
