The Role
As a Principal II youll lead engagements that help the worlds top biopharma companies make critical commercial decisions. Youll guide teams shape strategy and deliver work that drives real impact-from market opportunity assessments to competitive positioning and product commercialization.
Youll be a trusted partner to clients and a key contributor to our practices growth-scoping new opportunities building relationships and helping shape the future of our consulting offering.
What Youll Do
- Be responsible for balancing project management project delivery and business development responsibilities
- Serve as a strategy and thought partner to clients and senior officers of the firm
- Utilize IxI technology products to and client provided information to develop conclusions and recommendations (written and verbal)
- Work with senior members of the team to scope and develop proposals for new projects
- Engage in practice planning discussions including practice strategy and marketing
- Analyze research and data to uncover insights and build smart usable recommendations
- Craft compelling client-ready presentations that tell clear powerful stories
- Collaborate across disciplines - working with creatives behavioral scientists and technologists
- Contribute to business development by building proposals and nurturing client relationships
- Help shape our practice by engaging in strategic planning and marketing initiatives
What You Bring
- 78 years of life sciences consulting experience ideally at a top consulting firm or life sciences data organization
- BA/BS required; MBA or Masters in a related field preferred
- Strong data analyst and synthesis skills-you connect dots others miss
- Proven leadership across multiple workstreams and teams
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Foreign language skills a plus but not required
- A self-starting collaborative mindset-you lead with curiosity and clarity

Base Salary: $192000
The salary provided is for the NYC-hybrid position which requires occasional in-office presence and represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. For candidates in other locations salary will be adjusted to reflect local market rates. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit including experience (both direct and indirect) education training demonstrated qualifications and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at BGB Group.
