Hours Per Week: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Weekend: Every other weekend
SUMMARY: Performs a variety of cleaning and service functions ensuring the safety health and morale of patient visitors and employees. Assists patients recovery by providing a sanitary attractive safe environment with minimal interference. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives as well as Incentives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Dusts scrubs and mops (wet and dry) floors following established policies and complying with safety regulations and established time frames. Maintains confidentiality of position-acquired information.
Cleans and/or polishes floors using buffing machines according to department procedures.
Inspects and maintains equipment daily to ensure cleanliness and proper working order. Reports any mechanical failures general safety infractions or need for service and repair to the Supervisor.
Utilizes appropriate electrical equipment to vacuum spot clean. Striping and refinishing carpet extracting.
Sets up and moves furniture freight and equipment as required. Changes cubicle curtains and drapes and checks conditions of mattresses.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience/Skills/Abilities: Ability to understand oral and written instructions. Ability to effectively and respectfully interact with all levels of staff and the public within the organization and community.
Successful completion of annual clinical age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training: On job training is provided.
High School Diploma or equivalency

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations including continuing education requirements.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience relevant qualifications specialty internal equity location and contracts.
