Job Description

Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a $2 billion Indiana credit union in the search for a Vice President of Credit Solutions & Loss Mitigation.

This senior leadership role is responsible for developing and executing strategies around loss prevention collections and fraud mitigation while serving as the Identity Theft Red Flags Officer. The VP will oversee functions including fraud prevention investigations Reg E disputes bankruptcy collateral protection asset recovery and collection operations for past-due loans repossessions charge-offs and legal actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategy and execution of loss mitigation and collections.

  • Oversee fraud prevention investigations and asset recovery.

  • Manage delinquency forecasting charge-off budgeting and loss analysis.

  • Direct vendor relationships with third-party collection legal and recovery partners.

  • Develop policies procedures and compliance programs.

  • Provide reporting analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Guide and develop the Loss Mitigation team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field.

  • 810 years of progressive experience in loss mitigation collections or related financial services.

  • Strong leadership analytical and compliance expertise.
