We are seeking Expressions of Interest for a Leader Slopes and Rangelands Systems to drive research and development activities for temperate pastures across New South Wales. This is a key leadership role providing both strategic guidance and operational support to deliver world-class outcomes in pasture R&D.

What Youll be doing:

In this role you will:

Lead supervise and inspire a high-performing team.
Establish and deliver innovative research and development programs for temperate pastures.
Build strong partnerships across NSW DPIRD other government agencies with key stakeholders research partners and RDCs
Provide operational support including governance financial management and reporting on project outcomes.
Offer expert advice to the Director Pastures on current and emerging issues in temperate pastures.
Evaluate program and project effectiveness and showcase the impact of R&D activities.

What were looking for

Wed love to hear from you if you have:

A degree or postgraduate qualification in agriculture or a science-based discipline (essential requirement).
Strong leadership experience with the ability to guide and motivate diverse teams.
Proven skills in building collaborations across government research and industry.
A track record of successfully managing complex projects budgets and governance.
A current NSW Driver Licence and the ability and willingness to travel (essential requirement).
