APM Terminals Maasvlakte II (APMT MVII) strives to be the most modern and efficient gateway in Europe. This ambition requires a fundamental organisational change in which technology processes and people merge.
In this phase of our transformation we are looking for reinforcement in the form of a Business Change Agent who has a powerful combination of strategic HR insight process optimization project management skills and change management experience. This role helps our organisation to realise behavioural change effectively implement new processes and sustainably embed working methods in the operation. As Business Change Agent you will report to the Project Manager Transformation.
Role and responsibilities:
As a Business Change Agent you shape the implementation phase of our strategic organizational change. You will help teams within our technically complex and highly automated container terminal to embrace and maintain new behaviour new working methods and a new culture.
Key responsibilities in three strategic pillars:
1. Implementation power Putting processes into practice
Youll work closely with process owners the transformation team and departments like Operations Tech (Asset Management IT/OT) and support functions to identify and resolve implementation barriers.
You ensure the connection between strategic plans and daily practice.
You will supervise workshops team dialogue sessions and other interventions that ensure sustainable process implementation and behavioural change.
You ensure that best practices are secured and scaled up within the organization.
You will contribute to identifying inefficiencies and helping to implement process improvements in close collaboration with process owners and the PMO.
You translate project plans into practical execution at team level and monitor coherence between process and behavior.
2. Culture & Behavior Guiding change from within
You guide departments and teams in living through and embedding new processes and working methods.
You stimulate ownership involvement and willingness to change within all layers of the organization.
You coach team leads operators and professionals in applying new behavior aligned with our core values and change goals.
You make abstract transformation goals concrete in the workplace and translate them into practical interventions.
You will work closely with HR and line management to integrate culture and behavioural change into leadership and team development.
3. Securing change Continuous learning and improvement
Together with stakeholders you set up feedback loops to make the progress of change goals visible.
You measure evaluate and report on adoption culture change and process maturity.
You help teams to take ownership of their learning and improvement process even after the implementation phase has been completed.
You will participate in the development of an internal network of change agents in the business.
You will support the transformation team in structuring and following up on implementation plans including monitoring progress dependencies and risks at team level.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in guiding culture behavior and process change in a complex organizational context.
Demonstrable experience in implementation processes within transformation programs preferably in an industrial or logistics environment.
Experience in activating and guiding teams in the workplace in adopting new ways of working.
Experience with using (informal) leadership techniques to create movement.
Affinity with the maritime or industrial sector is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong in building trust safety and cooperation.
You are a natural connector with high social sensitivity.
You have coaching skills and can switch between management middle management and operations.
You are a good listener analyzer and reflect and know what a team needs to take steps themselves.
You are result-oriented pragmatic and people-oriented.
You are fluent in Dutch and English.
Education
Completed college or university education in a relevant field such as organizational psychology change management business administration or similar.
