Job Description
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP System Administration: Administer and maintain SAP systems including installation configuration and patching.
2. System Performance Optimization: Optimize system performance including database tuning memory management and system monitoring.
3. Security and Authorization: Manage security and authorization including user administration role management and audit logging.
4. Data Management: Manage data including data backup and recovery data archiving and data migration.
5. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting services for SAP-BASIS systems.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with functional teams including business users project managers and technical teams.
7. Documentation and knowledge Management: Create and maintain documentation including system documentation user manuals and knowledge base articles.
Requirements
1. Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
2. Experience: 7 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration specifically in the oil and gas sector.
3. Oil and Gas Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the Oil and gas industry including upstream midstream and downstream operations.
4. SAP-BASIS Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SAP-BASIS administration including system installation configuration and patching.
5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP-BASIS administration tools such as SAP GUI SAP CCMS and SAP Solution Manager.
6. Soft Skills: Excellent communication Collaboration and problem solving skills.
7. Certifications: SAP certifications in SAP-BASIS administration or other related areas are preferred.
Nice to Have
1. Experience with SAP S/4HANA: Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA including system architecture and administration.
2. Knowledge of SAP Cloud Technologies: Understanding of SAP on cloud platform including cloud infrastructure and administration.
3. Experience with Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
