Job Description

Role: eLearning Specialist (Articulate Rise and Storyline)

To continue operating at our high standards we are seeking a Temp to Perm eLearning Specialist based on site in our Cork office.

The Role

The eLearning Specialist will play a vital role in identifying learner needs utilising diverse media and interactive approaches consistently evaluating and enhancing Tridents eLearning content staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies and collaborating effectively with team members. In coordination with the Learning and Development Consultant the position includes the following duties:

  • Identify learner needs: Adjust content and design based on the requirements and learning objectives.
  • Utilise varied media and interactions: Integrate videos images quizzes and simulations to enhance engagement.
  • Assess and refine: Collect feedback and make continuous improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge: Monitor new trends and technologies in online learning.
  • Collaborate: Work with our Learning and Development Consultant and subject matter experts to develop effective courses.

Responsibilities

This role involves creating online learning materials intended to support business objectives. Reporting to the General Manager the eLearning Specialist will be responsible for researching subject matter organising resources incorporating multimedia and interactive elements designing user experiences developing technical components and implementing assessments to evaluate course effectiveness. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop clear high quality effective and engaging training resources.
  • Support needs analysis design and eLearning delivery.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to update storyboards.
  • QA eLearning courses document issues confirm fixes.
  • Manage client feedback during QA phases.
  • Test courses across devices.
  • Revise scripts and record audio as needed.
  • Organise images and add multimedia content.
  • Coordinate with vendors and experts for accuracy.
  • Supervise online course rollout and communication.
  • Monitor learning platforms and address technical problems.
  • Partner with L&D Consultant/DG Operations for module development and QA.



Requirements:

  • Over 2 years of experience in designing and developing eLearning content with authoring tools such as Articulate Rise and Storyline.
  • Experience with Camtasia and the Adobe suite is considered beneficial.
  • Familiarity with LearnDash and LMS administration is advantageous.
  • Proven experience addressing development issues systematically and collaboratively including identifying causes conducting troubleshooting and implementing solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce quality work with attention to detail as well as effective organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management skills and experience working effectively within a team.
  • Proficient interpersonal and communication abilities; fluency in English is required.
