Job Summary
Quality Staffing Inc. is currently hiring a Back Winder in Dalton GA for 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) at $17.02 per hour. This position plays a vital role in the production process ensuring yarn and carpet fibers are prepared properly for the next stages of manufacturing. Candidates must be dependable detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Creel yarn by setting up yarn spools to feed into the winding machine
- Splice yarn ends to maintain continuous production flow
- Load empty tubes and replace them as needed
- Operate winding equipment to wind yarn onto tubes or bobbins
- Monitor machine operation and ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
- Experience is required in a manufacturing or textile setting
- Ability to work 2nd shift consistently (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand bend and lift throughout the shift
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
