Our client serves global markets supporting advancements in efficiency and vehicle safety.

Job Description

  • Ensure the commissioning and replacement of test products and equipment while managing both preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Define and update the technical testing strategy encompassing hardware and software to support test equipment globally.
  • Oversee compliance of tools with process testing ensuring test development aligns with customer requirements and internal strategy.
  • Manage relationships with bench and tool suppliers covering acquisition training maintenance and support.
  • Lead the organization in defining and managing standards for test benches establishing new test procedures and measurement techniques.
  • Collaborate with the global R&D team to develop specialized test setups or test benches.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize maintenance costs quality and supplier performance and implement improvements.
  • Conduct research on new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor KPIs and customer quality reports oversee the identification analysis and resolution of quality issues and implement improvement measures as directed by management.
  • Manage and respond to customer complaints conduct investigations and ensure follow-up actions to enhance customer satisfaction and identify ways to improve customer experience.
  • Provide guidance to align processes with the companys quality policy and industry certifications (e.g. ISO IATF) to ensure product quality meets customer requirements.
  • Oversee day-to-day team management and report lessons learned and quality issues.
  • Project management.

Qualification

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 10 years of experience preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge in mechanical and mechatronic systems including system overview and software development.
  • Proficiency in CAD and PLM tools with expertise in project management.
  • In-depth understanding of functional safety product knowledge and testing procedures.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Demonstrated expertise in reliability testing failure analysis physical and chemical analysis and data analytics software with leadership skills in root cause analysis methodologies like Six Sigma DMAIC and DFSS.
