The Role
As an Architect & People Lead youll shape impactful software solutions for international clients80% hands-on in architecture and development 20% dedicated to leading and coaching a local team in Portugal. Youll drive full-cycle product delivery using modern technologies and React with a strong focus on quality and DevOps practices. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on technical challenges enjoys mentoring others and embraces AI and modern architectures to build future-ready systems. How youll make an impact
In a dual role as Architect and People Lead (distribution: 80% architect / 20% people lead) you combine your technical career and leadership expertise.
As a team leader in the Software Excellence practice in Portugal with enthusiasm and passion you are an enabler coach and first point of contact for your team members.
You are responsible for engineering purpose-built business applications for international clients. Youll be involved in the whole lifecycle of taking an idea from building to going live with a product.
You take over the technical management of teams from kick-off to rollout and are in close contact with the project management.
Through your leadership skills you win over inspire and mobilise your team and customers alike.
You embrace AI as an opportunity to create software in a better way.
Whats Important to Us
You have practical experience with the design of software systems following a methodological approach using concepts like DDD and hexagonal architecture.
Ideally you already have leadership experience and see yourself as an inspiring leader and coach.
With your university degree in computer science you have acquired valuable knowledge in modern software engineering.
You have practical experience with full-stack development in ecosystem. You are experienced in modern web development frameworks like React or Angular. You have a DevOps mindset and understand that high code quality and automated testing are crucial.
You are learning and success-oriented. You are motivated to achieve ambitious goals in a team and to be in direct contact with the customer.
Fluent in English.
You are ready to travel to clients in countries like Switzerland and Germany for a few days a month.
