Snow Clearing Staff

We are seeking friendly staff to work within our Property Management team as Snow Clearing/Genaral Hands for in Niseko Hirafu. You must have or eligible for Working Holiday Visa with passion for outside job in winter.
You will be responsible to clear snow from managed properties as well as some of staff accommodations while making sure safe working environment.
POSITION
Snow Clearing Staff
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manual snow clearing by hand
- Managing property entrances sideways roofs balconies in between guest check-in and out and etc.
- Operating sing snow blower machine to clear accumulated snow.
- Working as team with international & local Japanese staff.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
- Must have or be able to obtain an International Driving Permit
- Personal customer service experience (face-to-face)
- Snow driving experience not required (training provided)
- Previous resort experience
- Snow clearing/Trade or manual handling experience
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- Responsible energetic confident can-do attitude
- Physical strength for working outside at ski resort with shovel
- Be a team member to assist others
DRIVING LICENSE
Must have one of below license
- Driving license issued from Switzerland Germany France Belgium Monaco Taiwan.
- International Driving Permit (IDP)
Please note that it needs to be under The Geneva Convention on Road Traffic not Paris or Vienna Convention. List of countries stated above link.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
- English is a MUST (English/Japanese Bilingual an advantage but not necessary)
VISA REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have orbe eligible for aWorking Holiday Visa
REMUNERATION PACKAGE:
- Hourly rates will be discussed at interview
- Staff accommodation available
- Grand Hirafu/Hanazono Lift pass using SJ corporate discount (refundable upon completion of contract and with a clean disciplinary record)
EMPLOYMENT DATES:
- 25th November 2025 31st March 2026 (Full Season)
- 25th November 2025 28th February 2026 (Short-Term)
As with any seasonal work hours and dates of work are snow and customer dependent. Please understand that you are required to be flexible with work dates and hours.
Start date and end date can be discussed at interview. We can be flexible.
WORKING HOURS:
Full time 5 x days per week
You will be contracted to work an average of 36-40 hours per week throughout the winter though this will be higher in peak season (late-Dec to mid-Feb) and lower during quiet times.
