POSITION DESCRIPTION
STUDENT RESEARCH FELLOW
Part-time hourly paid student research fellow to track outcomes of expungement and consumer cases. The position is temporary hourly paid student position for the current 2025-2026 school year. It may be eligible for renewal subject to funding and the agreement of LAS and the Fellow. The Fellow may work up to 20 hours per week. Specific hourly schedule to be determined based on need of LAS and students availability.
Purpose of the job: Assist Legal Aid Society in developing and implementing processes totrack and analyze outcomes of expungement and consumer cases.
Work environment: Work is performed in the office setting and in the community.
Reports to Advocacy Director or other designated manager.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools controls or equipment; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
