Job Description

The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Project Officer to support a the research project Attention-based Model for Generation of Antibodies. This role include understanding of antibody design and improving computational methods for countering infectious diseases. The PO will work closely with our research team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support various aspects of project execution.

  • Assist in the monitoring documenting and reporting of project progress and outcomes.

  • Conduct data analysis literature reviews and support in programming tasks.

  • Conduct data collection/curation of molecular biology data (protein sequences etc)

  • Assist computational model development applied to antibody prediction tasks

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelors Degree in in Computer Science/Mathematics/Engineering/Statistics.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good in AI.

  • Knowledge in Computational Biology especially protein sequences or structures is a plus.

  • Prior experience in working with protein sequence or structure datasets is highly desirable.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Highly motivated organized and detail-oriented.
