Job Title: Application Analyst Experience: 5- 10 Yrs Mode of Hire : FTE / Contract
Role Summary: The Application Analyst is responsible for analyzing and resolving application and integration issues across various platforms. This includes supporting production and test environments coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and contributing to system enhancements and BAU activities.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Application & Integration Support - Perform initial triaging and analysis of API-related issues.
- Investigate and resolve integration issues across systems such as:
EDI AMA (collection agency) Actimize (AML) ANZ (payments) Wholesale Control-M Finance integrations OEM jobs. - Analyze and support application issues and enhancements in:
Email/SMS templates Wholesale application Oracle Fusion access Retail core systems. 2. Testing & BAU Support - Support test environment validation pre-production testing and general BAU activities.
- Monitor daily operations including batch job errors data issues and interface failures.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Documentation - Communicate with HQ external agencies and vendors to resolve system errors and improve functionality.
- Act as a technical point of contact for business users regarding system features and capabilities.
- Liaise with HQ development teams and vendors for defect resolution and system enhancements.
- Support user acceptance testing and ensure test plans align with business requirements.
- Assist with data mapping and integrity investigations
4. Requirements & Process Analysis - Use elicitation techniques to gather and document business functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create process diagrams workflows use cases and training materials.
- Understand system usage and process architecture to support testing and implementation.
5. General Duties - Maintain documentation including user guides and process maps.
- Perform other duties reasonably associated with the role as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience in application support and integration analysis.
- Strong understanding of APIs EDI and job scheduling tools (e.g. Control-M).
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience with documentation and testing coordination.
