Job Description

Public Kitchen and Bar Finz Seafood and Grill and Bella Cucinaare three magnificent restaurants inQueenstowncollectively known as Wai Hospitality Group.


We require multiple full-time permanent chef de parties who genuinely care and want to join an amazing team to deliver memorable experiences for the guests.


  • Minimum of 3-years experience in kitchens or formal qualification with 1 year kitchen experience.
  • $29.66 to $32 per hour depending on experience
  • Rostered day and evening shifts Monday to Sunday


Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Preparing cooking and presenting dishes as per the restaurants standards.
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
  • Prep lists and ordering
  • Achieving COG and wage targets
  • Training junior kitchen staff
  • Compliance with regulations
  • Communication with the kitchenand restaurant team and wider Hospitality Group
  • Guest focused to nurture an excellent guest experience creating raving fans

Applicants should be able to commit to a minimum of 12 months and be a New Zealand citizen/resident or hold a valid work visa. We are however an Accredited Employer and can offer Visa support if required.
