A successful candidate will have the following skills

Our mission is to empower businesses through innovative technology solutions and expert guidance. As we continue to grow we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Salesto lead our sales department and drive business development across our portfolio of services.

As Head of Sales your primary mission will be to build and scale the sales organization boost sales activity and strengthen our market presence in Hungary. You will lead the sales team develop and execute sales strategies and cultivate long-term client relationships. This is a high-impact leadership role with direct influence on the companys growth and positioning in the SAP and IT consulting market.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Build and structure the sales organization to support scalable growth.
  • Drive achievement of sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Lead and manage all sales activities ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Oversee and actively participate in sales and customer service processes.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with department managers and the Board.
  • Strengthen the companys market presence and brand visibility in Hungary.
  • Build and maintain long-term profitable relationships with clients.
  • Standardize sales processes and ensure knowledge retention across the team.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and endorse agreements within the power of attorney framework.
  • Approve subcontractor invoices related to sales and marketing.
  • Contribute to the optimization of departmental processes.
  • Prepare training materials and deliver internal training sessions.
  • Attend project and product meetings to align sales efforts with company initiatives.

Team & Department Management

  • Organize departmental operations including task assignment vacation planning and HR policy implementation.
  • Prepare and manage the departments budget.
  • Collaborate with the Board and HR on employee compensation and rewards.
  • Conduct performance reviews and motivational discussions.
  • Support the development and refinement of company procedures and strategies.

Candidate Profile Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 58 years of experience in sales leadership roles within the SAP ecosystem or IT consulting services.
  • Proven track record of building sales teams and driving sales growth in enterprise software or consulting environments.
  • Experience in managing complex sales cycles including solution selling and contract negotiations.

Industry Knowledge

  • In-depth understanding of SAP solutions (e.g. S/4HANA SAP BTP SuccessFactors) and IT consulting services.
  • Strong familiarity with the Hungarian SAP market including key players client expectations and regulatory environment.
  • Existing network within the Hungarian enterprise IT landscape is a strong advantage.
  • Awareness of current trends in digital transformation cloud technologies and business process optimization.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce SAP Sales Cloud) and sales performance tools.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders.
  • Skilled in budgeting forecasting and financial oversight.

Language Requirements

  • Fluent in Hungarian (written and spoken) essential for client communication and market engagement.
  • Fluent in English required for internal collaboration and international projects.
  • Additional languages are a plus.
