About your workplace

An ideal opportunity to perform diverse marketing functions serving as the lead communications manager for Mieles built-in residential appliances including all culinary refrigeration and dishwasher appliances. Working to build the Miele brand and to support each product throughout its lifecycle.

Extensive collaboration with internal departments (primarily Category Management and Sales) and international HQ-based counterparts (primarily BCX and MXA). Communication platforms to include: offline & online marketing brochure creation in-store POS promotional materials etc.

Your Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the creative execution of offline and online advertising campaigns to promote all residential products within Mieles culinary refrigeration and dishwasher portfolio. Working with Mieles international Brand Communications Team (BCX) and Digital Marketing Team (MXA) to launch new product and/or product campaigns. The development of market and/or campaign-specific creative briefs may be required along with relevant competitor analysis.
  • Lead oversight/direction of the national media plan for all residential products within Mieles culinary refrigeration and dishwasher portfolio. Working with media agent partner on: strategy planning procurement execution and reporting.
  • Lead oversight/direction of the digital presence for all residential products within Mieles culinary refrigeration and dishwasher portfolio on and owned channels. Monitoring and updating Mieles consumer website in terms of content accuracy brand experience and user depth competitor and industry analysis is a must.
  • Assist with the creative development and print production of all related appliance brochures and collateral materials. Help facilitate content and imagery selection in compliance with branding and corporate identity guidelines. Working with internal product and brand management teams along with external creative partners (when required). Requiring the development of creative briefs and related competitor analysis.
  • Provide oversight of Mieles brand presence within the various appliance distribution channels. Monitoring in-store materials including displays signage point-of-purchase tools etc. Requiring retail and competitor analysis. Corporate Identity (CI) compliance must be supported and achieved at all points of contact.
  • Coordinating and facilitating category-related consumer sales promotions as it relates to creative execution and placement. Developing related marketing kit (and supporting asset pack) overseeing online promotional messaging and ensuring delivery/posting of dealer-related assets (for local activation).
  • Serving as a brand steward for Miele. Working to develop protect and promote the Miele brand throughout all touchpoints and content channels.

Specialized area of Content Focus:

Miele Experience Centers (MECs) & Architects & Designers (AD) Division

  • Lead marketing liaison for Mieles Experience Centers (MECs). Assisting with the coordination of marketing promotional and branding initiatives. Including print collateral event-specific materials etc.
  • Lead marketing liaison for Mieles Architects & Designers (A&D) Division. Assisting with the coordination of marketing promotional and branding initiatives. Including print collateral event-specific materials etc.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing Advertising or Communications with 5 - 7 years of professional experience in a related field (ideally within the high-end consumer durables arena).
  • Experience with the strategic development and execution of integrated communication platforms is a must.

The salary range for this position is $75000 to $86000 annually plus bonus. This range is a guideline and may not reflect your exact offer. Factors that will be considered when extending an offer include but are not limited to education experience relevant skills and alignment with market data.
