Our client is a business engaged in the distribution of yarn chip sales and synthetic fiber spinning.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising non-exempt employees to achieve daily performance requirements.
- Administering policies and procedures within legal guidelines and helping the workgroup adapt to new ways of performing tasks. This includes understanding the legal implications of policies government regulations and safety standards and consistently adhering to and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Managing costs by tracking and providing input into projected plans. Conducting cost analysis.
- Evaluating safety standards and ensuring compliance.
- Managing workflow cost & budget and manpower planning.
- Utilizing multi-warehouse systems to predict and direct workflow.
- Following computer control commands to redirect workflow within warehouse systems and understanding how decisions to redirect workflow impact all parts of the operation.
- Facilitating the setting of objectives and strategies along with daily tactical planning budgeting and workforce requirements.
- Developing performance measures for workgroups and clarifying inputs and outputs that will be monitored for continuous improvement.
- Scheduling work for the daily activities of workgroups to maximize available resources.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Work every other Saturday)
Qualifications:
- Male or Female 28-40 years old.
- Bachelors degree in Logistics or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in Team Management within the Textile Fabric or Manufacturing industry.
- A logistics background is preferred.
- Fair to good proficiency in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is preferred.
- Able to work in Bangkrachaw Samutsakorn Industrial Estate.
- Willing to work every other Saturday.
