ProjectOverview:
As the Lead Data and ETL Engineer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining robust data pipelines and ETL processes. Your expertise will ensure the integrity quality and accessibility of data across the involvement in the project will be carried out as an independent subcontractor.

Scope of service
- Design and implement scalable ETL processes to extract transform and load data from various sources into data warehouses.
- Develop and maintain data models ensuring data integrity and quality throughout the data lifecycle.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency ensuring timely data availability for analytics.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows addressing issues and implementing improvements as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and ETL processes.
- Mentor and guide junior team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- Business level proficiency in Japanese reading speaking and writing.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or ETL Engineer with a strong understanding of data integration and ETL tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python SQL or Java and experience with data modeling and database design.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and data warehousing solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets and complex data structures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant certifications in data engineering or cloud technologies are a plus.
