Job Description
BAM is seeking an AI Developer II. The successful candidate will be tasked with designing and maintaining advanced machine learning systems within AWS GovCloud developing and refining AI-powered virtual assistants using IL5 compliant services and enhancing automation across enterprise web applications. Close collaboration with the internal AI Innovation team is essential to ensure that both BAM and its clients benefit from ongoing advancements in AI technology.
To thrive in this role applicants should possess deep expertise in AI development encompassing architecture integration and optimization of intelligent features. Candidates are expected to have over five years of development experience particularly with large enterprise systems along with outstanding communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain machine learning systems for use in AWS GovCloud environments
- Build train and enhance AI-powered virtual assistants using IL5 approved services
- Improve automation efficiency throughout enterprise web-based applications
- Participate in bi-directional feedback loop with internal AI Innovation team to ensure the customer and the company reap the benefits of our continued AI discoveries
To excel in this role candidates should possess the following
- Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Expert in AI development including architecture integration and optimization of AI features
- 5 years of development experience with a focus on large enterprise systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Expert in AWS AI services (Bedrock SageMaker AI)
- Hold relevant certifications for AI in cloud environments
- Ability to optimize algorithms for performance and scalability
- Experience collaborating in Agile software development teams
