We are seeking an experienced IT Data Management Lead with a strong background in data management platforms specifically Databricks and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will lead our data management team ensuring efficient data integration storage and analysis to support business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of modern data architectures.

• Leadership and Strategy:
  • Lead and manage the data management team providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement data management strategies that align with the organizations goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that drive business value.
• Data Platform Management:
  • Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of data platforms with a focus on Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Ensure data platforms are optimized for performance scalability and security.
  • Manage data integration processes ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
• Data Governance and Quality:
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy consistency and security.
  • Monitor data quality and implement measures to address data integrity issues.
• Project Management:
  • Lead data management projects from inception to completion ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Regional and Global Collaboration:
  • Work closely with regional teams to support the development and implementation of a Global Data Platform.
  • Ensure alignment of regional data initiatives with global data strategies and standards.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between regional and global teams to enhance data management practices.
• Innovation and Improvement:
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data management and analytics.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance data management capabilities.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Management Lead or similar role with a focus on Databricks and Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of data architecture data warehousing and data integration.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Certification in Databricks Snowflake or related technologies is an advantage.
