Job Description
Huon is looking for a motivated Farm Attendant who enjoys working on the water to join their Lighting and Electrical team at Port Huon on a 7 days on 7 days off roster.
The role
Working in a small team of 3 this role is predominately based on the water. You will:
- Install and remove equipment used in the lighting program.
- Inspect repair and maintain lighting equipment ropes buoys and cable conduit.
- Engage in pressure washing of lights cables and ropes during the maintenance phase of the program.
- Respond to light outages efficiently and in a timely manner.
This exciting opportunity is full-time operating on a 7 on 7 off roster working Wednesday to Tuesday each fortnight.
About you
You will have:
- Strong time management skills and the willingness to learn new skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a small team.
- Strong ability to adapt deal with uncertainty and remain calm in a changing environment.
- Underwater lighting experience or an Aquaculture background would be viewed favourably.
- Coxswain and Forklift Ticket desirable
