Verisure (in Portugal known as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented innovative hands-on and passionate Group Accounting Intern to join our Group Accounting Team with colleagues in Sweden Geneva Madrid and Lisbon. The role will report to the Group Accounting Senior Manager and will be based in Lisbon.

Responsibilities will include among others:
Support P2P process: receiving and processing invoices assure communication to and from all
Point of Contact for internal and external stakeholders
Support reviewing and assuring proper classification of cost center and accounts on POs
Assist manager and peers on the daily activity
Performing ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as required
Collaboration with local finance specialists to accounting tax annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislation
We are looking for a self-starter and enthusiastic attitude who will love to learn more about Accounting with a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business.
Recent graduate/finalist in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business
Strong interest for Accounting
Fluent in written and spoken English (mandatory)
Positive attitude
Interest in working in a fast-paced international environment
Methodical and attention to detail
Enjoys working with a variety of IT systems
Organized willing to learn and suggest improvements on existing processes
An enthusiastic and high energy individual with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
Humble and team-player
