Job Description
Main Responsibility:
- Creates concept with a strong design story support the senior designer on design deliverables to meet budget.
- Assist the senior designer in the proper execution of design and documentation.
- Proposed color schemes and design ideas.
- Communicates conceptual design ideas through 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
- Source and specify furniture fixtures finishes and equipment.
- Assist the senior designer on the day-to-day project coordination efforts with the ability to prioritize deadlines.
- Work with client representatives consultants contractors vendors to meet overall project objectives.
- Coordinate with the project management and construction teams to ensure cohesive documentation for construction.
- Ability to work with the team members on value-engineering to maintain the design intent.
- Undertake site furniture and equipment surveys.
- On-site coordination with consultants contractors and vendors during construction.
Your Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial interiors particularly in workplace interiors. Excellent graduate is also preferred.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited school of design.
- Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD SketchUp Photoshop and other 3D computer design programs.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin are essential.
- BIM knowledge is a plus.
