POSITION: DUAL-RATE TABLE GAMES SUPERVISOR
SUPERVISOR HOURLY RANGE: $22.89 27.47 FLSA Status: Full-Time Non-Exempt
DEALER HOURLY RANGE: $9.77 - $11.23 FLSA Status: Full-Time Non-Exempt
Description Summary
Under the direction of the Table Games Shift Manager and Pit Manager the Table Games Dual-rateFloor Supervisor will perform the duties of Table Games Floor Supervisor or Dealer based onbusiness the role of Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activity of all tablegames ensuring the gaming activity and dealing procedures comply with the Table GamesDepartment policies and procedures. The Table Games Dual-rate Floor Supervisor monitors andsupports team members assigned to their areas and additionally may conduct a variety of casinogames providing prompt and courteous service to all gaming the role of Table GamesDealer promotes a positive customer experience by dealing Table Games to guests on assigned shift
in a prompt courteous and professional manner for blackjack or other table games as applicable.
Floor Supervisor Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Compliance with Catawba Nation Gaming Commission regulations casino policies internalcontrols standard operating procedures and conducts all games in accordance withaforementioned regulations policies and controls.
Assists with training and supervision of all Table Games personnel.
Responsible for player ratings in assigned area.
Ensures dealer accuracy and corrects mistakes when needed.
Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
Maintains a clean safe hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Assists in company functions.
Performs any other duties as assigned by management.
Dealer Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must adhere with and be in compliance with Catawba Nation Gaming Commission regulationscasino policies internal controls standard operating procedures and conducts all games inaccordance with aforementioned regulations policies and controls.
Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
Accurately deals the assigned game to the policies procedures rules and regulations of thatgame.
Verbalizes the game in a voice loud enough for the players and supervisors to hear.
Verifies beginning and ending chip and money balances and confirms supportingdocumentation.
Receives fills and distributes credits. Exchanges paper currency for playing chips as applicable.
Recognizes internally issued promotional coupons and handles as appropriate.
Ensure wagers are placed before cards are dealt.
Monitors game and notifies Table Games Floor Supervisor of any disputes problems orconcerns with patron and/or the progress of the game.
Maintains a clean safe hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Assists in company functions.
Performs any other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Essential Job Knowledge Skills Abilities and Competencies:
High School diploma or GED required.
Experience of a minimum of 2 years Table Games experience. Startup Table and dealerschool training experience is preferred.
Knowledge of gaming and alcohol beverage control regulations and company internalpolicies and procedures.
Public relations and customer service skills.
Oral and written communication skills.
Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data casino/slot policies andpromotions.
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Certifications and Licenses:
Must have experience in two of the core games (Craps Blackjack Roulette and baccarat) and the Carnival Games.
Must be able to obtain a Catawba Nation Gaming License.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to operate computer equipment for extended periods of time.
Must be able to walk and stand on feet for long periods of time.
Ability to sit stand walk bend reach kneel.
Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Visual acuity and hearing
Noise level may be moderate to high during busy times.
