You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe individual hired will assistCollege of Nursing (CON)faculty with editorial needs as specified by the CON Associate Dean for Research/Scholarship. The individual will work with a wide variety of faculty and will require strong communication skills with an understanding of research and educational grant application requirements. Clarity in writing for funding mechanisms using carefully crafted arguments is expected. The individual will need to interpret complex academic/scientific research and may compose copy/content aimed at general audiences for various mediums (print web etc.). The editor must be capable of editing materials according to submission guidelines proofreading complex documents and adjusting large documents to layout expectations. The individual in this role may need to juggle multiple deadlines and prioritize competing demands on their time.
May provide direction assignments feedback coaching and counseling to ensure outcomes for faculty and staff are achieved.
Please note:This is a 50% time 1 year specified term role with the potential for extension pending funding availability.
