Job Description
Position Summary:
Minimum Qualifications andEducation:
- Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related field such as computer engineering.
- Outstanding candidates with terminal degrees in other areas may be considered if they have a history of teaching and research work consistent with appointment as a tenure-track computer science professor.
- ABD candidates will be given full consideration if they plan to receive the Ph.D. prior to the start date.
- Ability or desire to teach most or all core traditional computer science courses below the 400-level.
- Ability or desire to develop and sustain a research program that can incorporate undergraduate students.
- Demonstrated or articulated commitment to teaching excellence preferably in the liberal arts.
