Position Summary: The Data & Information Technology Coordinator ensures that the agencys information technology is deployed inventoried and maintained to meet agency needs manages information security and access-level permissions ensures that agency data is protected and accessible to only authorized staff maintains the school security camera network and provides front-line Help Desk support for all staff and facilities. Duties include purchasing maintaining and tracking equipment managing user accounts and subscriptions implementing security best-practices to protect agency assets and confidential information monitoring and updating software and databases as needed producing reports on schedule and on demand anticipating needs and making recommendations for future investments to improve efficiency and effectiveness coordinating with service providers contractors and other vendors to ensure continuous IT services and minimal interruptions troubleshooting problems providing regular technical support and ensuring consistent high-quality customer service.
Job Type: Full Time Non-Exempt Hourly
Expected Schedule: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8:00a 4:30p
Rate of Pay: AA: $22.62 /hr. BA: $25.64 /hr. MA or Higher: 28.67 /hr.
Education Requirement: Minimum associates degree in related field and 2 years of relevant experience. Desired bachelors degree in related field and 2 years of relevant experience
Qualifications: Mastery of Microsoft Office 365 applications file sharing information security and basic office IT systems. Strong organizational skills problem-solving and decision-making
Other Selection Criteria: All candidates must be age 18 or older possess a valid drivers license and their own reliable transportation complete a physical examination comprehensive fingerprinted criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen including a negative result for Amphetamines Cannabinoids (including Marijuana/THC) Cocaine Opiates and Phencyclidine (PCP). Marijuana is not legal at the federal level and is prohibited in the workplace or in ones system even if legally prescribed.
