Job Title: Interventional Radiologic Technologist (Diagnostic)
Location: Bronx NY
Shift Time: 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM (8 hr 5 days)
Job Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
- Operate angiographic fluoroscopic and other interventional imaging equipment.
- Prepare and monitor patients administer contrast dyes and ensure safety protocols.
- Maintain sterile fields radiation safety and compliance with hospital policies.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Associates degree from a Radiologic Technology program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with angiographic equipment balloon angioplasty and stenting.
- Strong knowledge of interventional radiology protocols and sterile techniques.
- Experience monitoring patients during invasive imaging procedures.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license from NYSDOH (can be obtained after offer).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
- One (1) Advanced-Level ARRT Certification (any one required):
ARRT (CI) Cardiac Interventional Radiology
ARRT (CV) Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology
ARRT (VI) Vascular Interventional Radiology
