Job Description
Title: Senior Workday Project Manager
Project Duration: 6 months
Location: Atlanta GA
REQUIRED SKILLS: (Need Majority; 5 Years)
- 5 years of Workday project management experience including implementations
- integrations and optimizations.
- Deep knowledge of Workday core modules (HCM Payroll Benefits Finance Recruiting).
- Workday integrations data migration and vendor methodology experience preferred.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Informatics or similar.
- PMP or equivalent certification required.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership
- Lead planning execution and delivery of Workday (HCM Payroll Benefits Recruiting)
- and other cloud-based application initiatives.
- Define scope timelines budgets and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders.
- Apply Workday methodologies and governance best practices to ensure successful
deployments.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for Workday project workstreams and cross-
- functional teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors ensuring clarity
and alignment.
Execution & Resource Oversight
- Coordinate resources across HR Finance IT and third-party vendors.
- Monitor progress track deliverables and remove roadblocks to ensure on-time delivery.
Risk Budget & Change Management
- Identify and mitigate risks manage budgets and forecast resource requirements.
- Lead scope control and change management to ensure minimal business disruption.
Communication & Reporting
- Provide concise updates executive briefings and stakeholder reports.
- Track performance against KPIs and conduct post-implementation reviews for continuous
improvement.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure projects meet industry standards regulations and organizational policies.
- Maintain quality assurance across all deliverables.
