Job Description

Vent Program Manager RT (Permanent Role)

Location: Norfolk VA 23502
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30PM
Schedule: Monday Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Salary Range: $90000 $100000 per year

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Ventilator Program operations ensuring adherence to clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise and support respiratory therapists and other program staff.
  • Develop implement and monitor care plans and protocols for patients requiring mechanical ventilation.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct staff training and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance inventory and budget related to respiratory care services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Act as a clinical resource and mentor to staff in ventilator management and respiratory care.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be a licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT).
  • Minimum of 2 years of management or leadership experience in a healthcare or respiratory care setting.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Proven experience in ventilator care and program oversight.
  • Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
