Job Description
RN Labor and Delivery- Permanent Role
Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12-hr Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on nursing standards and patient assessments.
- Monitor fetal heart rates labor progression and manage complications during labor.
- Collaborate with obstetricians and the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective delivery experiences.
- Educate patients and their families on postpartum care and newborn care.
- Administer medications IVs and manage patient records accurately.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations with sound clinical judgment and skill.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
Education & Experience:
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- At least one year of recent RN experience in Labor and Delivery preferably in a Level III or higher facility.
Licensure & Certifications (Required or within 30 days of hire):
- RN Registered Nurse (Current Texas license)
- BLS Basic Life Support
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program
