RN- Intermediate Care Unit (Permanent Role) Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12-hr Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
- Identify health problems and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patients responses to interventions and adjust care as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal care.
- Safely coordinate and manage patient transport.
- Promote patient safety and comfort preventing complications through vigilance and intervention.
- Comply with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and all regulatory guidelines.
- Appropriately delegate tasks based on patient acuity and team member competencies.
- Educate patients and families on care plans medications and health maintenance.
Required Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates or Bachelors in Nursing).
- Active and unrestricted Texas RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already certified).
- Minimum of 1 year recent IMCU/PCU RN experience in a Level I or II trauma hospital setting.
