Job Description

RN- Intermediate Care Unit (Permanent Role)

Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12-hr Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: (Negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
  • Identify health problems and develop appropriate nursing care plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients responses to interventions and adjust care as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal care.
  • Safely coordinate and manage patient transport.
  • Promote patient safety and comfort preventing complications through vigilance and intervention.
  • Comply with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and all regulatory guidelines.
  • Appropriately delegate tasks based on patient acuity and team member competencies.
  • Educate patients and families on care plans medications and health maintenance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates or Bachelors in Nursing).
  • Active and unrestricted Texas RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not already certified).
  • Minimum of 1 year recent IMCU/PCU RN experience in a Level I or II trauma hospital setting.
