We are a high-end precision manufacturing company thats been in business four decades. Over that time weve become highly respected in the industry producing difficult parts and assemblies that few others can match. Most parts in our facility have a tolerance less than 5um and require a very thoughtful approach to manufacturing them successfully.
We are looking for a new full-time CAM Programmer to join the team as a CNC programmer/machinist/process development specialist. Applicant must have a passion for process stability and repeatability with a quality minded approach to continual improvement and robust documentation.

Shift: Days
Required Experience:
Be a highly capable multi axis mill turn programmer and machinist
Okuma Multus with OSP300 control or similar B-axis head mill/turn machine such as Mazak
Integrex
Esprit CAM programming for mill turn or mill turn programming experience on similar CAM software
Be capable of selecting appropriate tooling for most machining operations
Work with a highly capable engineering and quality team taking input from all while bringing your own experience to the team in a highly collaborative environment
Desired Experience:
SolidWorks for fixture design
Fanuc Robot programming
Responsibilities:
Read blueprints and job travelers for product specifications dimensions tolerances and tooling instructions for manufacturing
Develop new CAM programs select tooling and design fixturing for new parts
Validate new programs
Create documentation and set up sheets
Set up machine for short and medium production runs
Verify dimensions of work piece for conformance to specifications using a variety of measuring equipment
Once a process is defined and documented this candidate will train staff to run production
Pursue continual improvement of existing processes
Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of work experience.
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
Good verbal and communication skills
Basic mathematical skills
Team player with excellent work ethic and attendance

Hourly rate based on experience
