Plater

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Plater to join our manufacturing team. The Plater will be responsible for applying various plating techniques to aerospace components ensuring adherence to industry standards and customer specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail a commitment to quality and a strong understanding of plating processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform plating operations such as electroplating anodizing and chemical conversion coatings.
• Prepare parts for plating by cleaning masking and inspecting for surface imperfections.
• Operate and maintain plating equipment tanks and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor and adjust chemical bath compositions pH levels and temperature as required.
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with customer and industry specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of plating processes including work orders and quality control documentation.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure proper handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a plating role preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of plating techniques processes and safety requirements.
• Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods.
• Certifications: Certification in plating or chemical processing is a plus.
