Job Title: Technical Sales Account Manager

Role Overview
The Technical Sales Account Manager will manage key customer accounts drive satisfaction and retention respond to technical inquiries and collaborate cross-functionally for accurate quoting forecasting and delivery. The role requires expertise in machining DFM (Design for Manufacturability) ERP systems and industry standards (medical device & aerospace preferred).
Key Responsibilities
- Quote Management: Review quotes ensure accuracy coordinate with teams and follow up with customers.
- Customer Account Management: Primary contact for assigned accounts conduct reviews lead site visits resolve escalations and provide technical support.
- Forecasting & Planning: Align operations with customer projections manage delivery schedules review open orders and validate POs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with accounting NPI engineering and production teams; provide DFM input; update customers on milestones.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years in contract manufacturing/machining
- 2 years in sales engineering or technical customer service
Preferred:
- ERP system experience
- Knowledge of medical device (ISO 13485) or aerospace (AS9100) industries
Technical Competencies
- GD&T CMM/VCMM SPC proficiency
- Blueprint interpretation & measuring tools
