Job Description
Job Title: DEVOPS AUTOMATION ENGINEER
Location: McleanVA
Duration: 12 Months
Visa: USC GC H1B and EAD
Contract Type: W2
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions and integrations for application development teams.
- Develop and enhance Microservices (Java Spring Boot) that manage automation for existing services.
- Work with scripting languages and frameworks to support automation and testing efforts.
- Collaborate with pipeline/platform teams to understand CI/CD workflows Kubernetes and other supporting tools.
- Support modernization by creating automation frameworks that reduce manual effort and accelerate delivery.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team collaboration.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java and Microservices.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Java TypeScript Python or similar).
- Solid background in automation within application development.
- Familiarity with AWS EKS Kubernetes and pipeline workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Fannie Mae Freddie Mac or FinTech environments.
- Ability to create new Microservices for automation purposes.
- Exposure to CI/CD integrations and cloud-native development.
