Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Architect with extensive knowledge of the Health-IT industry to help drive the development and implementation of advanced electronic health record systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-tiered architectures enterprise applications and health information exchange technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement multi-tiered architectures for Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Health Information Exchanges (HIE).
- Collaborate with technical personnel management and vendors to ensure project success.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and their application in health data management and security.
- Oversee the planning and execution of technical programs and work activities.
- Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs.
Required Skills:
- 10 years of experience working with Electronic Health Records
- 5 years of experience with Nextgen EHR PM and EDR
- Nextgen Certification
- Proficiency with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding
- Familiarity with health care-specific data interface standards and health information exchange technologies
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SQL
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports eMAR Mirth PACs CIPS/Fusion or Merge
- Understanding of HL7 standards
